Why B5 instead of A4?
A4 is a filing size; B5 is a carrying size. You give up some page width and gain a notebook that fits a shared desk and a bag that already has a laptop in it.
Will the pages fit an A4 file?
B5 sheets are smaller than A4, so they slide around inside an A4 file instead of sitting flush. If everything you write has to be filed or handed in at A4, write on A4.
