Why we picked it
Hands get washed in the desert by pouring a bottle over them and hoping. A camp sink is a folding basin on legs at table height, with a drain, so hands, the cutting board, the tea cups and the kids all get washed without bending over a bowl on the mat. Put it next to the water tank and the tap does the pouring. It folds to almost nothing and is the single most civilising thing you can add to a kashta with children.
